I grew up with my hands in the dirt and the leaves, caring for the smallest speck on the floor.
My interest for the soil, the woods and branches remain unchanged. They are now input in my oil painting and wood sculptures.

I am working from observation and memory and want to express the alienation of experiencing my own body in relation to my surroundings and other non-human beings. I am also interested in the edge of painting as an object, meaning the possibility for a painting to be a sculpture or to work together with sculptures. Therefore, I am working towards wood carving in communication with paintings.
